Social Development Programs

I have led and managed community-centered development initiatives focused on economic empowerment, renewable energy, agriculture, fisheries, health, and women’s leadership. These programs combine field implementation, stakeholder engagement, and systems thinking to create sustainable, locally driven impact.

    Youth Change Agent

    📍Lembata, East Nusa Tenggara | 2016–2017 | Economic Empowerment

    An economic empowerment program supporting rural youth through skills training, mentorship, and practical workshops. The project focused on improving employability, entrepreneurial capacity, and leadership among young people in underserved communities.More about the project and my story of running the project.

    Wonder Women Eastern Indonesia

    📍East Nusa Tenggara | 2017-2018 | Women’s Economic Empowerment

    Funded by Energia, a women’s economic empowerment initiative supporting rural entrepreneurs through mentorship, technology distribution, and business training. The program strengthened women-led microenterprises while improving household income and resilience. More about the project.

    Mata Kail: Sustainable Fisheries

    📍East Nusa Tenggara | 2018-2021 | Fisheries & Renewable Energy

    Funded by the European Union, a fisheries and renewable energy program aimed at improving sustainable production and consumption in coastal communities. The project introduced innovative technologies and strengthened value chains to increase income and environmental sustainability. More about the project.

    Perfectfit (Early Phase Implementation)

    📍East Nusa Tenggara | 2018-2020 | WASH & Environment

    Funded by Grand Challenges Canada, a menstrual health initiative addressing access to safe, affordable products and education. The project combined community engagement with behavior-change training to improve women’s health outcomes and confidence. More about the project.

    Protecting Rubber Harvest

    📍 West Kalimantan | 2019-2020 | Agriculture

    An agricultural innovation project introducing rain guards to rubber farmers to reduce production losses during rainy seasons. The initiative improved productivity, income stability, and farming efficiency. More about the project and read the full report here.

    Community-Led Desalination

    📍 Bali | 2020-2021 | Water Access

    Funded by The Canada Fund for Local Initiatives, a community-based water desalination initiative that converted waste materials into a sustainable clean water solution. The project combined environmental innovation with local entrepreneurship to improve access to safe drinking water. More about this project.

    Community-Level Air Quality Monitoring

    📍West Kalimantan | 2018-2020 | Public Health

    Funded by the Islamic Development Bank, a social innovation project piloting community-led air quality monitoring systems to improve awareness and response to environmental health risks. More about this project.
